Lords of the Fallen soll ein Sequel im Jahr 2017 erhalten.

Deck 13 und CI Games haben sich schon mehrfach über den großen Erfolg von Lords of the Fallen geäußert. So konnte sich das Spiel ganze 900.000 Mal auf Xbox One, PS4 und PC verkaufen. Nun gibt es erste Konkrete Aussagen über Lords of the Fallen 2. Die Frankfurter Jungs von Deck 13 werden die Entwicklung allerdings nicht erneut übernehmen.

Stattdessen wolle man die Entwicklung von Lords of the Fallen 2 auf verschiedene Studios auslagern. Schon bei Lords of the Fallen 1 soll man Studios in China und Großbritannien an der Entwicklung beteiligt haben. Über 100 Künstler waren extern beschäftigt.

Allerdings wollte man sich bei CI Games nicht dazu äußern, weshalb man sich von Deck 13 getrennt hat. Allerdings verspricht man, dass man aus Lords of the Fallen lernen möchte und mit dem Sequel ein besseres Spiel abzuliefern.

Die Lords of the Fallen Game of the Year Edition erscheint am 26 Juni 2015 für PC, PS4 und Xbox One.
